Visit TRI-CITIES seeks a part-time temporary visitor center attendant to support the Tri-Cities Visitor Center for 15-20 hours a week between May and Labor Day Weekend. The assistant will greet visitors, answer routine questions about the area, and direct incoming calls to the appropriate staff. Saturday and Sunday hours are required.
Qualified candidates must possess the ability to use multi-use telephone system, as well as computer and office equipment; good verbal and written communication skills; ability to deal effectively with the public; knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and database management; good organizational skills; detailed oriented; professional appearance; knowledge of the convention/tourism industries preferred; and ability to lift 50 lbs.

DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Recreation Specialist (Aquatics) and Pool Managers, must act as a lifeguard during public and private time for the purpose of rescue and control of the pool, work in a professional manner with the public and perform duties designated by the Head Guards, Pool Managers and/or the Recreation Specialist (Aquatics).
REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 15 years of age; possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification and American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED. Ability to work with the public in a professional manner.
