Goose Ridge Production Facility Hiring PT High School Student

We are reaching out to Hanford High School as we are looking for some part-time help at our production facility location.  We are hoping to find a student who can work part-time as their schedule allows during the school year.

We would prefer a student who is not in sports and who is a part of the Gear Up program or Running Start program. They would need to have a driver’s license and if they could drive a stick-shift, that would be a plus.

Some of their duties would include, but aren’t limited to:  ** running errands ** preparing mail ** taking mail to P.O./pick up packages if needed ** unpacking freight ** light cleaning ** filing

Send resume to aprils@gooseridge.com or call the main office at 509-627-6249.

Paying for College
Anthology Event Venue, 706 Williams Blvd., Richland

The sticker price for many colleges can be a real shock - the cost of tuition, fees, room, board, and travel often adds up to tens of thousands of dollars per year.  The good news is that most students don't pay the full sticker price.  The bad news is that navigating through financial aid, scholarships, grants, and loans can be a real headache.  In this presentation, Dr. Quadrel will describe what drives college costs and what families typically pay.  He will also discuss available financial aid options to help cover college costs.  Whether it's an academic or sports scholarship, a federal loan, or educational grant, each option has its own set of requirments and timeline. Email DoctorQ@SageCPS.com to reserve your spot.

Dec 8 :  12:30 PM - 3:00 PM
ASVAB Make-Up
Career Center

For Running Start Seniors who need to complete their High School and Beyond Plan, and juniors who missed the ASVAB test that was administered in the  fall of 2017.  Contact the Career Center at 967-6524 to confirm your spot.  This will be the computerized version of the ASVAB so an accurate headcount is required to ensure a computer is available.  The follow-up results class will be scheduled at a later date.

Social Media Exposure

These days, many universities are searching online and social media platforms such as Facebook to 'research' potential students during the admission process. Online reputation management has become a necessary practice for those seeking college admission and employment acquisition. Click on the link below to take you to a guide that will help you monitor your "online presence".
